Glazing Safety: Standard horticultural glass can be dangerous if broken. We recommend you choose toughened safety glass (to BS6206) or polycarbonate safety glazing, particularly if children or elderly people may be present. Polycarbonate insulated glazing ensures an even temperature inside your greenhouse, extending your growing season, keeping heating costs down and providing you with a better yield.

Bases: Before erecting your greenhouse it is important to have a strong and stable base that is securely fixed into the ground. We recommend using the Eden steel base. The galvanised steel base is cut to the exact size of your greenhouse and measures 12cm high which gives 12cm (about 5 inches) additional headroom. Easy to assemble, it has ground anchors at each corner for securing firmly into the ground.
